The Hall County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated was chartered March 31, 2001, in Gainesville, Georgia, by 18 sorors who felt it was time for their community to benefit from the services that the sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta had to offer. The efforts to bring together sorors in the area began several years before the actual chartering, but in March of 2001 the dreams becoming a chapter became reality.

Charter members of the Hall County Alumnae chapter are Evelyn Brown, Vallorie Coley, Erica Glenn, Roosevetta Johnson, Deborah Mack, Gloria Maddox, Wanda McRae, Angela Middleton, Gwendolyn Morris, Arbra Prather, Georgette Riggans, Deborah Rucker, Nell Rucker, Eleanor Sanders, Tina Sewell, Mary Smith, Genelda Stovall, Annesa Truesdale, Tracey Wilson.

Presidents of the chapter include Roosevetta Johnson - 2001 - 2002, Gwendolyn Morris - 2002 - present.

The members of Hall County Alumnae Chapter actively implement and maintain programs tailored to our specific community, which are consistent with our National Five-Point Program Thrust.
