BRENAU
 WOMEN'S  COLLEGE

On May 6, 1914, Alpha Epsilon chapter of Delta Delta Delta was founded on Brenau campus.  There were ten charter members, three of whom returned the following year.  So these three Tri Deltas scattered their seeds and during the rest of the year, they rushed, pledged, and initiated a large number of girls.  In, !916, each sorority on campus adopted French orphans, and we we adopted two--a boy and a girl.  We sponsored then until they no longer needed our aid.  In 1919, the pledges gave us our crescent light, made by the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Tulane.  In the recorded history of our chapter, an eye-catching statement was made by a 1915 member: "One noticeable thing in the all around group, that is, girls of every type, and we are represented in every organization in school."  Alpha Epsilon still holds high with campus activities, and we are always working hard to maintain the high standards established by our founders and predecessors.
