In November 1999, Tri Delta formally announced its philanthropic "partnership of the heart" with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For more than three years, Tri Delta collegians and alumnae have made a huge impact on helping kids fight cancer. Last year, members of the Executive Board agreed it was time to make a promise for even more. So, in the next four years, Tri Delta will raise one million dollars to fund the Patient Teen Room at St. Jude. Knowing that Tri Deltas believe in philanthropy and actively recruit members who share the same level of commitment to Children's Cancer Charities, Executive Office felt confident in making this lofty goal. |

We are excited that our membership recruitment concentrates on serving others. Holding philanthropy events during recruitment allows our members and potential new members the chance to engage in service projects devoted to the chapter's international or local philanthropy. |
