17 May 2008 -- A large group of Brenau students, faculty, and administrators gathered at the plush Gordon Club on Fort Gordon military base to celebrate the accomplishments of retiring campus director Donny Moore.  He leaves Brenau Augusta after 8 years of coordinating three different teaching locations for Brenau University.  Besides well-deserved praise, Moore received a good amount of ribbing from Senior Vice President Wayne Dempsey as well as Assistant Vice President David Barnett.  They ranged from past budgetary maneuvers to keep the Augusta site in the black to Donny's passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. 

The incoming campus director for Brenau Augusta is Angela Elkowitz, who is currently director of Brenau Gainesville.  "He's a tough act to follow," Dempsey said, "but no one is better suited for the task than Angela."
